Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 3 July 2026

This page explains how to delete data that Alethe holds about you or your organisation — including data connected through third-party integrations such as Facebook, Instagram and Threads (Meta). It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Delete data from a connected Meta account (Facebook / Instagram / Threads)

If you connected a Facebook Page, Instagram account, Threads profile or Meta Ads account to Alethe, you can remove the connection and the associated data in any of these ways:

Option A — disconnect inside Alethe

  • Sign in at app.alethe.eu and open Settings → Integrations / Credentials.
  • Choose the Meta connection and select Disconnect.
  • Effect: the access tokens for that connection are immediately deactivated and cryptographically erased (the encrypted key material is destroyed), so Alethe can no longer access the account.

Option B — remove the Alethe app from your Facebook settings

  • In Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
  • Find Alethe, select Remove, and (optionally) tick the request to delete the data the app holds.
  • Meta then sends Alethe a signed data-deletion request. We automatically deactivate and erase the connection credentials and any cached data for that Meta account, and Meta shows you a confirmation code together with a status link of the form https://app.alethe.eu/api/v1/meta/data-deletion/status?code=…, where you can check the state of your deletion request at any time.

Option C — email us

Email info@alethe.eu with the subject “Data deletion request” from the email address associated with your account. We will verify the request and respond within one month, as required by GDPR Art. 12(3).

2. Delete your Alethe account and all personal data

  • Email info@alethe.eu from your account email with the subject “Account deletion request”.
  • We verify ownership, then delete the account and associated personal data in line with the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy (§4). Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. invoices under Czech accounting law) are retained for their statutory periods only.
  • Note the 30-day data-export window after termination described in our Terms of Service — export anything you need before or during that window.

3. What gets deleted

  • Connection credentials (OAuth tokens, API keys): deactivated and cryptographically erased immediately upon disconnect, deauthorization or a deletion request.
  • Platform data from connected accounts (e.g. page content, ad and insights data retrieved from Meta for your workspace): removed together with the connection, per the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy.
  • Account personal data: deleted per the Privacy Policy retention schedule; statutory records excepted.

4. Questions

Contact info@alethe.eu. Complaint routes to the Czech supervisory authority (ÚOOÚ) are described in the Privacy Policy.
